Auto Play in Vegas Technology Online Casino Slots

February 26, 2010

Online slot games are an ideal candidate to be played on auto play. The player makes no decisions and after a while the game play can get monotonous. If the player wants to wager continuously with the same bet for long periods of time then the auto play feature is a necessity. Therefore all online gaming software providers include the auto play feature in their slot games. Vegas Technology also offers an auto play feature in its online slot games. For the most part this feature is on par with the best offered in the industry. However it has certain advantages and disadvantages.

The most important parameter in any auto play is the number of auto spins. In Vegas Technology software the player has to choose the number of auto spins from a drop down box. The minimum is 5 auto spins and the maximum is 500 auto spins. This has two disadvantages. The maximum limit is constrained at 500. Some online gaming software providers allow players to feed in a much larger number and in this the Vegas Technology auto play is found wanting. The other disadvantage is that the player has to select from the discrete options provided. He cannot enter intermediate numbers, as is the case in some other software. However this is not a major disadvantage because the more common options are covered.

Today most auto play features allow players to enable conditions that will automatically terminate the auto spins. The reasons for players wanting to do this are explained a little later. However players who want to continue with the full number of auto spins regardless of any outcome should leave the default condition of "stop once all spins are complete" enabled. Most slot players have a target of how much they want to win in mind when they start playing. They would want the auto play to terminate once this amount is reached. The Vegas Technology auto play provides the players different ways of doing this. The players can automatically terminate the auto play when a jackpot is won, when a win exceeds or equals a specified amount or when the cumulative credits increase by a specified amount. Similarly there are players who want to stop losses from accumulating. They can terminate the auto play if the cumulative credits decrease by a specified amount. Vegas Technology auto play feature has another condition, which is quite inexplicable. The auto play can be stopped on any win. A slot game is bound to register some to win on the other every five spins also and this condition if enabled will terminate the auto play so soon that it loses its meaning.

The unique feature about the Vegas Technology auto play is that it allows players to set the number of seconds between spins. Again players can select the desired parameter from a drop down box. The minimum setting is 0.25 seconds and the maximum setting is 2.00 seconds. The players who are not watching the computer while the auto play is on and who want to get in maximum spins should select the minimum setting of 0.25 seconds. Players who are watching the auto play can choose the setting suitable for their requirement. In this context there is an overriding setting that allows the game to display all wins before the auto spins resume. This is a good option for new players who are trying to understand how the payouts are made.
