Fortune Lounge Group

March 24, 2009

The Fortune Lounge Group is one of the oldest and largest groups of online casinos and poker rooms. It is based in the United Kingdom. The group operates nine online casinos. The brands are 7 Sultans, Desert Dollar, Platinum Play Casino, Royal Vegas, Fortune Room, Vegas Palms, Vegas Towers, Vegas Villa and Platinum Play Bingo. The group also operates three online poker rooms. The brands are Poker Time, Royal Vegas Poker and 7 Sultans Poker.

All the Fortune Lounge Group online casinos are powered by software from Microgaming. They offer the complete range of over 300 online casino games based on the latest Viper platform. Viper from Microgaming is one of the most customizable software packages and most of its features can be activated from within the software client. The software is available in the download and instant play formats and in a number of currencies and languages. The progressive jackpot games at Fortune Lounge need special mention. The group’s casinos have paid out more than $27 million in progressive jackpots. The largest ever payout at any Fortune Lounge casino took place on 4th March 2009 when Major Millions was hit for $1.08 millions at Royal Vegas. Unfortunately the Fortune Group online casinos are no longer accepting American players from December 2008, when Microgaming withdrew from the American market. All the group online casinos have been licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and carry eCOGRA’s “Safe & Fair” seal. The casinos are governed by the codes of conduct established by these organizations with respect to responsible gambling and players’ interests and therefore live up to the group’s byline “The Better Place to Play”.

Fortune Lounge Group is known for its excellent promotional events. The most popular one is the International Casino Games. Four seasons of this event have been completed. 100 lucky players won a week long grand cruise for two and four of them won €50,000 each in the fourth season. Other group promotional events are International Slots League and International Blackjack League.

Fortune Lounge Players Club is the common loyalty rewards program for all group online casinos. Players operating at different Fortune Lounge casinos have one rewards account and this enables them to rise faster in the VIP hierarchy. The Players Club has a four tier hierarchy – Bronze, Silver, Gold and Bonus. Players are put into one of the tiers depending on the Fortune Points earned and receive benefits commensurate with their loyalty status.

Fortune Lounge is a highly awarded group. In 2005 it won the Top Casino Group award from Gambling Online Magazine and in 2003 it won the Top Rewards Program and the Top Casino Customer Service award from Online Gambling Magazine.
