Casino Action Offers Million Dollar Promotion

May 21, 2009

Casino Action was launched just over a month ago. It is the latest brand of the reputed Casino Rewards group of online casinos. In a bid to quickly increase its clientele Casino Action is embarking on a unique promotion that will offer $1 million as prize money and is being billed as the "year's biggest free money giveaway".

The concept is simple. Casino Action will be mailing its promotional CDs to potential customers across the world. This promotion will cover close to 70 countries in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Canada and South Africa have been specially identified. The United States has been left out since the Casino Rewards group does not accept American players. The CD is being released in the 14 languages that Casino Action provides the software in. Some of the CDs will entitle the users to a one time promotional prize. This prize is not uniform but will range between $50 and $1250. The total amount of such prizes will be over $1 million. The lucky winners can use the free money in a special one hour free play offer. This will allow the user to get familiar with the over 300 Microgaming online casino games available at Casino Action without paying anything. Microgaming is the leader in online gaming software development and powers all the brands of the Casino Rewards group. The games include a variety of online slots, popular table games like blackjack and roulette and innovative formats of video poker.

Releasing the details of the promotion a spokesperson from Casino Action said, "We are excited to be able to give the public a chance to win from a pool of over $1 million in prize funds. This is our biggest free money promotion to date, and we hope that it will create another millionaire like last year." He was referring to the story of Klaus E from Finland, which has become a part of the online gambling folk lore. In 2008 another of the Casino Rewards brands had released a similar CD. Klaus was one of the recipients. Klaus was not into online gambling and the CD was gathering dust on his kitchen table for a few weeks. Klaus then decided to see what the CD was all about. He put it into his computer and as they say the rest is history. Klaus hit the $5.5 million progressive jackpot on Mega Moolah, which was then the largest single payout in the history of online gambling. Recently Mega Moolah has paid out over $6 million to a player from Greece.

Casino Action is the 19th brand of the Casino Rewards group. Like the other brands of the group it is powered by Microgaming and licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. It has been certified as "Safe & Fair" by the independent auditor eCOGRA.
